Teknik Bringing NBC’s Fear Factor™ to Mobile Gamers

Fans of the runaway hit show can test their skills and courage
with the mobile game this summer

NEWPORT BEACH , California , April 2, 2004 -- Teknik Digital Arts announced today that it has secured the North American rights to develop a mobile game based on the TV hit series Fear Factor™ in conjunction with partner Playentertainment of Scottsdale, AZ.  Fear Factor™, from producer Endemol, is extremely successful and among the top-20 shows in the Nielson ratings frequently, bringing in as many as 18 million viewers across all major demographics and is the fastest-growing network reality series in adults aged 18-49. 

“The show's demographics and subject matter are a direct bullseye within the mobile game industry and make the games a natural," said Larry Meyers, Manager of Playentertainment.

“We designed the game in a modular fashion so the player can enjoy a single event as a stand alone game or he can participate in a full blown competition that encompasses multiple challenges from the phobic to the athletic,” said Corey Comstock , Chief Creative Officer of Teknik Digital Arts.  “We have scheduled the game to release at the end of the summer in conjunction with the new season of Fear Factor™ on NBC.”
